3 Simple Ways to Get in Shape by Summer

Do you want to look your absolute best this summer? You are trying to reach your goals, but you want to make sure you look fit and healthy by the time those warmer months arrive. Even if you only have a month or two before summer, there are plenty of ways to get in shape without going hungry or overworking yourself. Check out the top three tips below.

1. Naturally Clean Out Your Digestive System

Did you know the bloat in your stomach is caused by some of the unhealthy foods you have consumed? Before you can focus on working out and achieving your best shape ever, you should focus on cleaning out your digestive system. Although there are some colon cleansers available, there is a natural way to clean out your system. You should consider going on a juice cleanse for a few days.

Some people complete their juice cleanse over the weekend. Instead of eating traditional meals, you would have homemade juices prepared in your kitchen. Each cup of juice will consist of different healthy ingredients, including carrots, green apples, cucumbers and berries. If you are not sure which vegetables and fruits to combine, it is easy to find healthy juicing recipes online. By cleaning out your system, you can put a stop to the bloating and even shed a few pounds.

2. Complete a 30-Minute Workout Twice Daily

If you want your body to look toned and healthy, you will need to start an exercise plan. If you have a hard runnerstime sticking with a routine, completing 30 minutes of exercise twice a day could help you stick with your goals because you are spreading the exercise out instead of trying to get it all done at once. There are tons of different things you can do in the span of 30 minutes that will help you burn calories. You may want to do a combination of some of these different exercises:

-Jogging

-Jumping Jacks

-Crunches

-Knee Highs

-Squats

-Jumping Squats

If you would like to build muscle while burning away the fat, you can start lifting some weights. You should always start with lighter weights and then work your way to higher amount when you feel like you can comfortably lift that amount. Do not forget to take a day off from exercising each week to rest and avoid straining your muscles.

3. Set a Customized Calorie Intake Limit

Consume fewer calories to start dropping weight. Instead of eating that one large meal for breakfast, start spreading out your meals and choosing items with fewer calories. For example, non-fat Greek yogurt with a side of blueberries or strawberries is a better breakfast choice than pancakes with bacon. A turkey wrap with lettuce, tomato and avocado is a better lunch choice than pizza or a cheeseburger.

If you can make some dietary changes, complete a juice cleanse and plan out your exercises ahead of time, you can start seeing positive results. As soon as you notice those numbers are dropping when you step on the scale, you may feel even more motivated.
